Should precriptions become required for medic alert tags/bracelets? - diabetic alert jewelry
As the Jonas Brothers have become so popular (especially Nick Jonas) I have noticed that many children with diabetes to use the warnings on the labels, fashion something for real medical needs. It reminded me of the idea, to an order received from labels. What do you think? Do not get me wrong: I love the Jonas Brothers, but as a diabetic, my label, that people know what to do in an emergency. If everyone uses them all the time not to make a little sense, especially if you do not know whether they actually used for legitimate medical purposes? Thank you for your tickets now!
BTW, this was caused by a 14-year-old who sometimes wore a guardian alert Dogtag diabetes, and when I spoke to said, "Oh, I'm not a diabetic! It's like Nick Jonas day '. You know is Miley?" I was surprised, to say the least.

I'm on the topic. At one end, yes, I wear a medical identification number, and I would like it to something in an emergency, meaning that informs people not only from my diabetes, but my dry eye, which is so serious that my cornea was literally and can In my eyes open when I go without a drop of half an hour .. in an emergency, without my medical ID can not be that .. and scary as hell!
Furthermore, doctors buy online identities, such as sweets, for example .. I like different styles, bands and removable panels in different colors for identification. Having to prove to a prescription for all (and get my medical team at last, what "would be important to put" in a document of identity) quite complicated .. I would be willing to spend, but probably not on others .. and few people bother with medical identifiers, such as it is.
I think the environment will encourage this to children can not get an ID that says: "Diabetes", but a unique ID, you are perfectly healthy, if they simply say your name and a parent / number of both parents. I tHINK is something that parents and children can be happy with ...
This would not only identify a gift to children in emergencies, but also prevent a real diabetic label will be carried by a child to make mistakes as a mere fashion accessory.
I understand your concern, but are covered by prescription only at a low degree of correlation. Patients should consult a physician to pay more money, and fighting with insurance companies because they are likely to be a durable medical equipment. In addition, to create children / people, the journey to more of a risk to their safety if they were inconsistent, and admitted to the hospital, you should not fear that more would be in danger. Ventilation in the world can go and Petsmart Dog Ingrave true label .. Stay just on their health .. smart
Wearing a medical alert day for something that could not get into trouble. But I do not see them, you must have a prescription for them. In addition, copy, hackers, and everything, so you probably will not help too ...
I understand your concern, but I take nothing away from those of us who have recourse to the emergency. An EMT and rescue workers search for the label, no matter how mean that they get to use them. Most non-diabetics of 14 years do not do things unconsciously, probably not to come with a label of diabetes. If she in a car accident, for example, and can not talk while you are on a label of diabetes, the worst that could happen that the blood glucose levels of children under the supervision Okay, right?
It seems pretty irresponsible if these labels actually read the same as a medical alert. I've never been so I do not know how they look. You can bet that these Disney stars are worn all over the world, is a teenager.
