If you have pulmonary hypertension secondary to sleep apnea, how long since you were diagnosed? - pulmonary disease more condition_symptoms
I have a colleague of the same age with the same diagnosis. We have diagnosed the same year, so we assumed they had the disease for about the same amount of time. We have both the C-Pap. There is no oxygen during the day. I'm on oxygen therapy 24 / 7.
It has been a smoker. I had pneumonia last year, and it seems that his illness a lot faster than I began to move. He was hospitalized on a respirator and had twice in the last six months.
Is this a natural consequence of this disease?

I have COPD and sleep apnea. I use the albuterol inhaler with a machine when I breath. Also, the use of an inhaler Advair every morning and can use it at night if one has needed.i CPAP for sleep apnea. Everyone is different. I do not smoke. I went some years ago. I've never been a heavy smoker, a pack every two days. Try to not be exposed to smoke snuff. they can exacerbate their problems and accelerate progress, which seems to be close to the usual order of these problems with breathing. I hope you feel better. May God bless you. be careful., Susie
