Do you really need a ATSC tuner built in with a VCR/DVD combo player? - vcr/dvd player combo with built in channel tuner
I have an HDTV
But now I am thinking of buying a VCR / DVD combo to go with my old CRT TV, because I do not need HDTV in my room, I look just normal old VHS and DVD .. . I have cable TV, I do not think that channel would air a problem, though the official change of digital broadcasting in the spring of 2009, I do not think they really need an integrated ATSC tuner with the reader?

You do not need an ATSC tuner for digital cable TV, you need a QAM tuner (sometimes called 8VSB). It is a bet that the bad weather or not to transfer cable companies are analog or digital cable. You want an additional $ 10 to decrypt pay for the rental of the box digital to analog.
If you have money to spend, would, in my opinion, to get the digital tuner.
Is in the air ATSC digital cable is not just.
on the basis of how they describe their use, you may not need to. Go When the cable is your source for television, it should be.
